RUSD Scholarship Opportunities

 

SOTD Scholarship

Several Riverside businesses and community organizations, in partnership with Riverside Unified School District (RUSD) and Riverside Educational Enrichment Foundation (REEF), raised scholarship funds at the 3rd Annual State of the District Luncheon to recognize achievement and excellence of deserving graduating high school students within RUSD. These scholarships represent the dedication of the Riverside community to provide more opportunities and support for the college and or career aspirations of tomorrow’s leaders.

Nineteen (19) $500 scholarships, Eight (8) $1,000 scholarships and one (1) $1,500 scholarship will be awarded to the highest-ranking applicants as determined by the selection committee. Scholarship funds will be issued in the summer of 2019.

REEF grants several scholarships to RUSD students, including:

The Maxine Frost AVID Scholarship
The Lew Vanderzyl AVID Scholarship
The REEF/RUSD State of the District Scholarship
The PCH Architecture/Engineering Scholarship
The Dr. Bill Ermert Athletic Scholarship
The Cory Kipp North Football Scholarship

RASM Scholarship

 

RASM is excited to begin accepting applications for our annual scholarships. Scholarship applicants must be a graduating 12th grade student from an accredited high school or a student currently enrolled in a junior college, vocational school, college, or university. Qualified students must have exhibited above average academic performance, the potential for leadership, involvement in school activities, and acceptance for admission to a vocational school or to an accredited college or university.

PTA Logo

Carol Rude Community Service Scholarship

Carol Rude was a dedicated parent volunteer in RUSD from 1974-1997. She believed that children were our highest priority, and acting on that belief, gave thousands of volunteer hours to them. She was Riverside Council PTA’s president at the time of her death in December 1997.

Scholarships of $500 each will be awarded each year to selected seniors (within Riverside Council PTA) who complete this application.

Graduating High School Senior Scholarship

Twenty-third District PTA will offer a Graduating High School Senior Scholarship in varying amounts to acknowledge the achievements of a high school senior for volunteer service in the school, community and PTA.
