INSTRUCTIONS FOR JOB INJURY REPORTING


If injury is life-threatening, call 911 immediately, then notify the district Workers’ Comp Office at (951) 788-7135 ext. 80610 and Employee’s Supervisor.

All other accidents/injuries, call the Injury Hotline at (877) 518-6702. Also, be sure to report incident to Employee’s Supervisor.

Site secretary or supervisor will immediately call or email RUSD Workers' Comp Office (951-788-7135 ext. 80610 or [email protected]) advising of the employee's injury, including the employee's name, site location, and when it happened.

THESE PROCEDURES APPLY TO ALL INJURIES 24 HOURS A DAY, 7 DAYS A WEEK.

Important Information


RUSD will not be responsible for any bills for self-procured medical treatment not authorized in advance by the Workers’ Comp Office. (NOTE: Your private health insurance will not cover bills for work-related injuries. You may be financially responsible for self-procured medical treatment.)

The only exception is for emergency treatment of a serious/life-threatening industrial injury.

Any evidence of abuse, suspicion of fraud or misrepresentation in order to obtain Workers’ Comp benefits will be investigated and prosecuted.
